Our organisation aims to enhance opportunities for the sustainable growth of the Australian pork industry by delivering integrated marketing, innovation and policy services along the pork industry supply chain. We pursue opportunities for the industry at both the domestic and international level.
Australian Pork Limited (APL) was formally registered as a company in 2000 following extensive industry consultation and the overwhelming support of Australian pork producers. It represents the coming together of three legacy organisations – the Australian Pork Corporation, the Pig Research and Development Corporation and the Pork Council of Australia.
