Postponed: The Climate and Carbon in Agriculture 2020 Conference 31 March – 1 April 2020
The Climate and Carbon in Agriculture 2020 Conference that was scheduled to be held on 31 March – 1 April at the Adelaide Convention Centre has been postponed. The event organiser, Climate Research Strategy for Primary Industries (CRSPI), has determined that the potential for the COVID-19 virus to impact the event warrants the event being postponed.
This decision has not been taken lightly and the organisers are cognisant of the impact it has on all involved including registered delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers. Those who have registered will receive a full refund and will be notified once an alternative date has been identified.
Options for holding the Conference in October or November 2020 are being investigated and CRSPI encourages anyone keen to attend to register their interest (by subscribing below) so that they can be informed of details closer to the event.
CRSPI is very appreciative of the understanding of those involved.
Climate Research Strategy for Primary Industries (CRSPI) is bringing together people from across a wide range of commodity sectors, primary producers, governments, research investors and researchers to arm attendees with the latest climate related information and strategies for the agricultural sector.
Your registration will automatically be fully refunded. We are working with the ticketing agency to process the refunds as quickly as possible, however the current circumstances mean that they are managing a large volume of requests and funds may not be available for up to 18 business days. Should this cause any issues for you, please contact us immediately to discuss.
It was determined that the situation regarding the COVID-19 virus had the potential to negatively impact the travel plans of attendees and speakers and potential health implications is a significant enough cause for concern for many to avoid large group gatherings.
CRSPI remains fully committed to delivering a high-quality event which will tackle some of the most important long-term issues facing agriculture and support producers to adopt the latest information and adaptation strategies.
